WHY WE DOODLE IT

It is estimated that there are 3.9 million orphaned children in South Africa with nearly half having lost their parents to AIDS-related diseases. The further exploitation of these children, coupled with poor socio-economic environments and stress, leads to cognitive, social and emotional problems. At the age of 18, these children are expected to be self-sufficient adults despite their lack of a stable background that fosters the life skills needed for success. Through organisation's good news storybooks, our creative programmes and educational theatre, we focus on the following areas:
